This years winners, Steven Diaz and Denise Moore Toth were recognized as the USA Basketball Men’s National Team honorary ’6th Man’ and ’6th Woman’ during the July 12 USA Basketball exhibition game in Las Vegas. Although he could have turned away from the armed forces, Steven decided to help fellow veterans and their families who suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder.

The ‘6^th Woman’ honoree, Denise Moore Toth was laid off from her job nearly five years ago, but continues to prefer selfless acts. Denise dedicates her time, money and spirit to serving the homeless of Cleveland. She has built a strong ministry for the homeless that operates solely on the generosity of others. Denise cooks and prepares more than 70 hot meals every Saturday that she delivers to the homeless.
