Whether you’re cruising through Florida with the top down to the beach, trails, or just for fun, the standard soft top can be folded down or the available hard top can be taken off. The doors can be removed in the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and even the windshield can be folded down. Four-wheel drive comes standard with a 285 hp 3.6L V6 engine mated to a standard six-speed manual transmission. For 2012, Jeep offers an available five-speed automatic.

The Rubicon is the most likely trim choice for off-road enthusiasts, as it comes equipped with features that they would add anyway; heavy duty axles, 32” BF Goodrich mud tires, front and rear electronic locking differentials, sway bar disconnect system, rock rails and a heavy-duty transfer case with 4:1 low-gear ratio. An available Freedom Top three-piece modular hardtop allows panels to be removed above the driver or passenger. More available options include half doors, remote start system, Dual Top Group, front seat-mounted side air bags, and a multimedia infotainment system with 28-gig hard drive and navigation system. Electronic stability control with roll control, brake assist, traction control and hill hold control are standard on all Wranglers
